Welcome to CasaGarage, a bespoke design studio that turns automotive dreams into reality.

In English, “CasaGarage” translates as simply and naturally as it does in Italian: “HomeGarage.” The name reflects the connection between living spaces and car collections, where garages become curated environments shaped by personal interests and memories.

Last year, Alec and I visited the men behind the CasaGarage operation, Giacomo Lazzaro and Edoardo Antonelli. Our meeting place was their flagship garage, which they custom-designed and created for local car collector Alessandro Carraro.

It’s the space Giacomo and Edoardo use to showcase their interior design expertise. A big part of the process is getting to know each client and understanding their passion for cars, their unique connection to them, and how they reflect their personal, professional, and automotive lives, and this is the perfect spot for that.

The garage is located in the beautiful town of Pistoia, in the heart of Tuscany. For many years, Pistoia was home to the headquarters of Scuderia ProCar, a motorsport company and racing team that competed across a range of Italian championships, including hill climbs, circuit racing, and most prominently, rallying.

Alessandro is a true gentleman – someone whose lifelong passion for cars and racing has evolved into a lifetime of unforgettable experiences and amazing stories. He’s also the proud owner of an impressive car collection, with each vehicle holding a special meaning and story of its own.

We spent hours talking to Alessandro about his prized possessions, which you can learn all about in the video above. But it’s the work CasaGarage has done to showcase the collection that takes it to the next level.

Giacomo tells me his creative process draws on a deep knowledge of interior design, particularly his understanding of color, materials, and texture. He blends this with a passion for automotive history to create one-of-a-kind furniture pieces that make CasaGarage fitouts nothing short of works of art.

To say it brings Alessandro’s space – a bolt factory in a former life – to life would be a huge understatement.

Looking at the collection of beautiful cars in this setting was nothing short of mesmerising. Alessandro’s lineup includes everything from Lancia models, including the remarkable Stratos, to a unique white Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, a striking Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, Brabham F1 cars, and even an ex-Richard Burns Subaru Impreza WRC.

This garage redefines what a dream man cave can look like. For me, the highlight of it all is the office, which pays homage to the golden era of Italian design – the 1960s through to the ’80s.

After spending a few days with Giacomo and Edoardo, I have no doubt their reputation will spread further afield as soon as the right collectors see what CasaGarage can create.
