It’s been a while since I dedicated a post to you directly, dear readers, but I’m excited for this one – as we’re launching a new series here on Turnpike. Christmas has come early, eh?
With over fifty years of experience between us, we’ve made plenty of friends in and around the automotive industry.
From event organisers to racers, photographers to writers, producers and even car designers – in the virtual and real world – we’re privileged to be surrounded by creative talent. It’s a beautiful automotive world we live in, thanks to these geniuses.
For most of you, the final results of their work is all you’ll ever get to see. Sure, there might be a behind-the-scenes video here or an Instagram post there, but that’s still a part of the process – not what really drives the creators.
So why not go one step further and understand what it is that really drives these talented individuals?
That’s why we’ve cooked up a new series, where I’ll be chatting directly to some of the best and brightest people in our automotive world, picking their brains and – hopefully – giving you a better understanding of their work in the process.
Our first article in the series drops tomorrow, where I’ll introduce someone bringing Tokyo’s car scene to life on film. That’s film photography, by the way, not video.
Stay tuned, folks, but in the meantime, let me know who you want to hear from and I’ll add them to the list. I’m properly thrilled for this, and I hope you are too!
