Acting as the final show of the UK JDM season, Japfest Goodwood 2026 is introducing a completely fresh format this year by welcoming all Japanese cars with no age restrictions, expanding beyond its previous classic-only focus.
Event Highlights:
– The Pit Straight Live Arena: The legendary Goodwood pit straight is being transformed into a high-octane live-action zone. Spectators can watch directly from the Goodwood balconies to witness drifting, drag setups, and stunt displays.
– Drift King Demos: Hosted by Drift Matsuri, this feature brings the UK’s best Japanese drift cars to the circuit for three smoke-filled, sideways demonstration sessions.
– Chemical Guys Car Catwalk: A brand-new addition for 2026. Sixteen of the finest builds will compete face-to-face in a live knockout tournament, with the crowd voting to crown the “Car of the Show”.
– ProLite Jumping Truck: Monster Energy athlete Luke Woodham will perform gravity-defying jumps over the arena in his high-horsepower off-road racer.
– Kei Car Display: A dedicated showcase celebrating small cars with massive character from the Japanese domestic market.
– Goodwood Race Simulators: Attendees can test their own driving skills on state-of-the-art full-motion simulators to chase lap times around a virtual Goodwood circuit.
