When you think of Macau and cars, naturally, the Macau Grand Prix comes to mind. Beyond international motor racing, though, this autonomous region on China’s south coast, located just across the Pearl River Delta from Hong Kong, is better known as the Las Vegas of Asia.

What happens when you mix those two things? You get the Wynn Signature Hypercar Exhibition.

This prestigious event, launched in 2023, brings together some of the world’s rarest and most valuable hypercars alongside renowned European designer brands and high-end watchmakers.

Split between Wynn Palace and Wynn Macau, the Wynn Signature typically runs for six or so weeks, giving the public plenty of time to attend. It’s also free, which is a nice bonus and removes all barriers to entry, especially for young enthusiasts.

For the 2025 show, which began on September 29, I decided to head along to Wynn Palace the night before the doors officially opened, hoping to catch the cars as they entered. Once they’re inside, they’re surrounded by protective glass, making them a little harder to shoot.

I arrived at the hotel by taxi at 8:00pm, and was immediately drawn to not one, but two Pagani Zonda MYs being ushered inside. This was my cue to start taking photos.

Twenty cars were secured for the Wynn Signature 2025 Hypercar Exhibition, and although that number was less than previous years, I feel the lineup was bolder and more colorful than ever.

Among them was a Pagani Utopia with a very unique spec; it’s painted in Porsche Rubystone Red. The iconic color is a perfect contrast to the car’s white wheels and body stripes.

As the truck that delivered the Utopia left, another arrived, this time carrying a NIO EP9 electric hypercar. To me, this is the godfather of Chinese performance EVs, making its mark right before the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra and BYD’s Yangwang U9 began breaking world speed records.

As has been the case in the past, a few hypercars from California, USA, were flown in for the event. Two cars from The FASTRRR Collection in Orange County were present, including this Bugatti Chiron with a stunning combination of green-tinted carbon fiber bodywork and tan Terre d’Or leather.

As the evening gave way to early morning, I received a tip that a very special car would arrive at 4:30am – a one-of-eight Pagani Imola Roadster. But not just any Imola.

This car features a one-off spec called the ‘Nāga’, commissioned by a Thai collector. It is believed to be one of the most expensive cars Pagani has ever built, thanks in part to fully bespoke ‘Bvlgari Serpenti’ paintwork, which incorporates large snake scale designs on the sides. Furthermore, the interior features Bvlgari jewelry throughout, which is reputed to have cost more than the car itself.

What a way to top the night off! Hopefully, I’ll have the chance to do it all over again later this year.
